Since November 2020 Panasonic Corporation has been conducting a demonstration experiment in Fujisawa SST of a residential area delivery service using an automatic delivery robot. The robot has become a familiar sight to both residents and other locals.<\/p>\n
In order for the residents to feel closer to the robot, we invited suggestions for its name (its nickname in FSST) from them.
\n76 people submitted a total of 132 names, from which the nickname “Shonan HAKOBO” was chosen.<\/p>\n
This name reflects our desire to provide a robot that continues to play an active role, carrying not only deliveries but also everyone’s dreams.<\/p>\n
\u201cShonan HAKOBO\u201d will continue to provide service every day in order to remain loved by the community.
