From Tuesday, July 23 to Wednesday, July 24, 2024, 14 children living in the town participated in an event where they could experience working as a tour attendant for the “Official Fujisawa SST Tour” organized by Fujisawa SST Management Company. <\/p>\n
Fujisawa SST has been visited by visitors from approximately 60 countries so far.<\/p>\n
The purpose of this event was to allow children to learn about the town while being exposed to English.<\/p>\n
On the day, we first had them change into attendant uniforms which are blue striped T-shirts. <\/p>\n
They first learned about the town by listening to an English presentation and taking a quiz, and then practiced their English pronunciation. After that they gave a presentation in English as tour attendants to their families.<\/p>\n
At first, the children seemed anxious and nervous about using English, but when it came time for their presentations their faces brightened and they were able to give their presentations confidently.<\/p>\n
