Vice-Minister of the Environment, Naomi Tokashiki visited the Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town on Nov. 9th (herein after called as Fujisawa SST).<\/p>\n
After having an outlined lecture of the Fujisawa SST project, the Vice-Minister and her team visited many of our facilities. They visited our model house, \u201cFuture Co-Creation FINE COURT,\u201d opened this August, our facility for health, welfare, and education called the \u201cWellness Square,\u201d opened in April, and \u201cCommunity Solar,\u201d located in the public space. Furthermore, they observed the experimental demonstration site, \u201cGreen Air Conditioner,\u201d which alleviates the summer heat in the open space, and provides comfort for heat-island phenomenon. During the site tour, they were diligently listening to our staff attendant\u2019s explanation. <\/p>\n
Ms. Tokashiki, Vice-Minister of the Environment, has previously served as Vice-Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare. She was particularly interested in our activities, especially in the field of environment and health. She asked many questions about the town\u2019s future development, and she greatly appreciated the Fujisawa SST project.<\/p>\n
