On January 27th (Wed), Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism(MLIT) hosted a \u201ccompany tour\u201d visiting Fujisawa SST.
\nThrough the \u201ccompany tour\u201d, together with business partners, MLIT introduces quality infrastructure to foreign ambassadors from leading countries, to expand Japanese infrastructure system to abroad.
\nThis time, under the theme of \u201csustainable possibility\u201d, Fujisawa SST was introduced to 14 people from 5 countries as one of the most advanced smart city in Japan. In the beginning, introduction regarding the elements creating \u201cquality infrastructure\u201d were given by MLIT, and was follwed by the introduction of Fujisawa SST\u2019s concept and general outline.<\/p>\n
Then, the attendees visited town management office to see the town wide energy status and monitoring system using surveillance camera, and also they made an inspection of car and cycle sharing facilities, disaster prevention facilities and model house in FujisawaSST.
\nAt the Q & A session after tour, lively discussion took place to exchange opinions reagrding facilities, services.<\/p>\n
