As 100-year lifespans become commonplace, the town wants to promote healthy habits from a young age and create an environment that promotes wellness by simply living there, and also encourage lifelong learning through recurrent education and reskilling. Such efforts are aimed at nurturing people\u2019s \u201cwill to live\u201d in unpredictable times.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"ns02\">\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<div class=\"box\">\n<h3>Fujisawa SST\u2019s integrated community care system supports residents at every stage of life by bringing together a range of service providers.<\/h3>\n<p>This system covers much more than the elderly who need nursing care, as it is designed for all ages, from newborns to centenarians. Conventional integrated community care relies on doctors, pharmacists, caregivers and nurses. Fujisawa SST extends this network to include commercial facility operators, logistics providers, security companies, manufacturers, and other businesses to provide services that people need at different stages of their lives. The aim is to recommend and deliver services tailored to individual needs.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<img src=\"https:\/\/fujisawasst.com\/EN\/wp_en\/wp-content\/themes\/fujisawa_sst_2025\/images\/we_new0102.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"image wide\">\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"box\">\n<h3>Delivering programs that extend healthy life expectancy to every generation.<\/h3>\n<p class=\"title\">Services and content for healthy families<\/p>\n<p>We will promote lifestyle and health services content, mainly offered by fitness providers, to raise interest in health among the working-age population, promote wellness, and prevent illnesses before they develop.<\/p>\n<p class=\"title\">AI-powered rehabilitation programs for the elderly<\/p>\n<p>For an elderly person whose physical strength has temporarily declined due to an injury or illness, AI is effective at formulating a personalized rehabilitation plan based on the person\u2019s medical record and other information. The goal is to implement a service that helps seniors regain independence, whether at home or in elderly care facilities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"title\">Promoting exercise and social participation in collaboration with local government<\/p>\n<p>Of the three important elements to prevent illnesses before they develop\u2014diet, exercise, and social participation\u2014the town plans to serve as a testbed for new programs that focus on exercise and social participation. The goal is to build a sense of community among residents, ranging in age from children to seniors with care needs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"title\">Brain health checks, and prevention and improvement programs<\/p>\n<p>Cognitive decline can be detected at an early stage using advanced technologies. Through partnerships with service providers, we will offer programs to prevent mental decline and bolster cognitive functions, helping people lead fulfilling lives in an era of 100-year lifespans.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"box\">\n<h3>Providing diverse opportunities for learning to nurture people\u2019s life skills, from children to seniors.<\/h3>\n<p>Learning opportunities abound at Fujisawa SST. Junior high and high school students have the chance to engage in holistic STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics) education or interact with real-world entrepreneurs. Such learning opportunities offer more than traditional knowledge. Students develop technology literacy and improve their skills in presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation. The system also includes an emergency physical assistance service. The world is facing many problems, including a low birth rate and aging populations.<br \/>\nFujisawa SST gives one answer to this question \u2012 social interaction.<br \/>\nThe town will provide a Wellness SQUARE, a focus for elderly care facilities, assisted residences for the elderly, pharmacies, home care services, clinics, nursery centers, after-school day-care centers, cram schools, etc.<br \/>\nIn this area, a range of services are seamlessly linked across field boundaries to efficiently offer optimum services to every resident.<br \/>\nStill more, there will be opportunities for naturally linking people and fostering interaction among those who come to the Wellness SQUARE.<br \/>\nThe elderly can pass down their knowledge and skills to children, and children can brighten the lives of the elderly.<br \/>\nFujisawa SST aims to create a town that can always present this charming sight.<\/p>\n<p>        <img src=\"https:\/\/fujisawasst.com\/EN\/wp_en\/wp-content\/themes\/fujisawa_sst_2025\/images\/we0102.png\" alt=\"\u56f3\" class=\"photo02\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"t05\">A \u201clocal comprehensive care system\u201d for providing linked and seamless medical care, nursing care, elderly care, and pharmaceutical services<\/p>\n<div class=\"box01 cf\">\n<p>For example, medical care and elderly care have up to now been regarded as entirely different fields.<br \/>\nPatients returning home after hospitalization tend to find it hard to get essential home care, due to distance limitations and lack of information.<br \/>\nTo overcome these problems, a \u201clocal comprehensive care system\u201d needs to be built to provide appropriate services seamlessly that meet residents\u2019 needs.<br \/>\nFujisawa SST will promptly set up this state-driven system, and provide linkedservices that transcend the traditional borders of medical care,nursing care, elderly care and pharmaceutical services.<br \/>\nBased on residents\u2019 health information and treatment information,we will examine measures to provide services as and when needed using ICT (Information and Communication Technology)..<\/p>\n<p>          <img src=\"https:\/\/fujisawasst.com\/EN\/wp_en\/wp-content\/themes\/fujisawa_sst_2025\/images\/we0103.png\" alt=\"\u56f3\" class=\"photo03\">\n        <\/div>\n<p class=\"t06\">Plan and hold diverse health promotion events.<\/p>\n<p class=\"t07\">Based on the guidelines of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and other administrative bodies for utilizing ICT and health checkup data, we will plan and hold events for the maintenance of good health and contribute to the welfare of the local population including individuals such as full-time homemakers, who have few opportunities to have health checkups.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"s03\">\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<div class=\"dlbox\">\n<dl class=\"dl02\">\n<dt>Nursery schools, cram schools and after-school day-care centers for developing \u201dthinking skills\u201d &#8211; The basis of \u201dzest for living\u201d<\/dt>\n<dd class=\"cf\">\n<p>A nursery school is created not merely to shorten waiting lists for nursery schools. It is an opportunity to develop children\u2019s individuality and to foster thinking skills. Cram schools and after-school day-care centers are also provided in response to children\u2019s urges to \u201clearn\u201d and \u201cacquire knowledge.\u201d The Wellness Square will provide study-support services in combination with a nursery center, to form a basis for developing a \u201czest for living.\u201d The Wellness Square also supports daily health care.\n<\/p>\n<p>              <img src=\"https:\/\/fujisawasst.com\/EN\/wp_en\/wp-content\/themes\/fujisawa_sst_2025\/images\/we0104.jpg\" alt=\"\u5199\u771f\" class=\"photo\">\n            <\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<dl class=\"dl02\">\n<dt>Library zone and laboratory zone for enjoying warm connections with the community<\/dt>\n<dd class=\"cf\">\n<p>The Wellness Square will include a community place that is freely open to Fujisawa SST residents. A collection of picture books and encyclopedias is placed in the library zone to stimulate curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. Both children and adults will be intrigued by the experimental kits in the laboratory zone. Children visiting the Well SITE* to do their summer homework projects are likely to receive kindhearted advice from elderly people waiting for clinical examination. Residents strolling into the Well SITE* may find themselves chatting for the first time with other residents. Warmth and people-to-people interaction at the SITE is what marks the town as special.<\/p>\n<p>              <img src=\"https:\/\/fujisawasst.com\/EN\/wp_en\/wp-content\/themes\/fujisawa_sst_2025\/images\/we0105.jpg\" alt=\"\u5199\u771f\" class=\"photo\">\n            <\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<dl class=\"dl02\">\n<dt>Residents listen to and respond to other residents&#8217; interest in \u201clearning\u201d and their \u201cdesire to pass on\u201d their experience.
