On Saturday, May 18th, the “Fujisawa SST Wellness Marche” was held at the South Building of Wellness SQUARE!

A variety of events content related to education, health, and were organized, and over 400 people attended, including local residents and members of the community. This was the second time the event was held.

Students from Bunkyo University Shonan Campus ‘ dance club “BUZZ” and “Musashi Sword Fighting and Dance Club” put on a powerful performance, and “Sunset on Sixth Street”, the Fujisawa SST music circle, put on a wonderful performance on stage, livening up the venue.

There were a variety of booths in which parents and children could participate together, including a children’s pharmacy experience by Ain Pharmacy and an air cannon experiment by the Gakken Group. There was also a traditional play corner and shrink plastic accessories making in the hall. Further, there were health and welfare initiatives such as a dementia supporter training course, a “Brain Health Check Plus” experience, and a seminar by the director of Fujisawa Smart Town Clinic.

In addition, Fujisawa City’s mascot character Fujikyun♡ also made an appearance and was quite popular with the children.

At Wellness Square, a comprehensive hub for health, welfare, and education, we will continue to develop initiatives that benefit the local community.
