From Tuesday, July 23 to Wednesday, July 24, 2024, 14 children living in the town participated in an event where they could experience working as a tour attendant for the “Official Fujisawa SST Tour” organized by Fujisawa SST Management Company.

Fujisawa SST has been visited by visitors from approximately 60 countries so far.

The purpose of this event was to allow children to learn about the town while being exposed to English.

On the day, we first had them change into attendant uniforms which are blue striped T-shirts.

They first learned about the town by listening to an English presentation and taking a quiz, and then practiced their English pronunciation. After that they gave a presentation in English as tour attendants to their families.

At first, the children seemed anxious and nervous about using English, but when it came time for their presentations their faces brightened and they were able to give their presentations confidently.

Fujisawa SST Management Company will continue to produce events that allow for active interaction with Fujisawa SST residents as a part of the Town Parent Project.
