Panasonic got an award of “the Zayed Future Energy Prize 2015”.

Panasonic Corporation got a first prize in large company sector of “the Zayed Future Energy Prize 2015″. This prize is managed by Masdar, which is a state enterprise established by the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It was awarded by HH General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, at a commendation ceremony held at a capital of UAE, Abu Dhabi, on January 19th, 2015 (UAE local time).
“The Zayed Future Energy Prize” is an international award, established in 2008 and given to the outstanding results in the field of renewable energy and sustainability every year. The prize was established on the purpose of realizing a vision of the deceased Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan, a Founding Father, President of the United Arab Emirates, and laid the groundwork of renewable energy and sustainability.
Panasonic Corporation holds technology to support and manufacture a wide range of commodities which contributes for creating, storing, saving energy and water, such as “ecologic navigational products” or “solar power generation system called ‘HIT(R)’ “.
Panasonic also promotes ecological and sustainable town building as Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town (Fujisawa SST), which is based on the viewpoint of residents under the cooperation with a local government and partner companies. Panasonic’s activities based on the management philosophy were comprehensively evaluated and resulted to receive the prize this time.
