French business association related to energy and construction visited Fujisawa SST for purpose of inspecting the operation of smart city in Japan.

First we provided a presentaion at Fujisawa SST SQUARE presentation room, regarding the background of the project and concept , and following that, we showed them a town management company’s office which will be a disaster prevention base at the time of disaster, and citizen’s craft center SQUARE Lab FERMENT which is a place to nurture a community.
Also, they inspected about 400 meters of ‘Community solar’ which is a solar power generation system installed along the prefectual road, and a ‘Central park’ which has disaster prevention equipments, and a resident’s meeting place ‘Committee center’.

They inspected with enthusiasm, and commented ‘It is very informative to inspect an “ACTIVE” smart city in which people live actually’.
