On January 27th (Wed), Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism(MLIT) hosted a “company tour” visiting Fujisawa SST.
Through the “company tour”, together with business partners, MLIT introduces quality infrastructure to foreign ambassadors from leading countries, to expand Japanese infrastructure system to abroad.
This time, under the theme of “sustainable possibility”, Fujisawa SST was introduced to 14 people from 5 countries as one of the most advanced smart city in Japan. In the beginning, introduction regarding the elements creating “quality infrastructure” were given by MLIT, and was follwed by the introduction of Fujisawa SST’s concept and general outline.

Then, the attendees visited town management office to see the town wide energy status and monitoring system using surveillance camera, and also they made an inspection of car and cycle sharing facilities, disaster prevention facilities and model house in FujisawaSST.
At the Q & A session after tour, lively discussion took place to exchange opinions reagrding facilities, services.
